The Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement (APCA) established the Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Certification & Certificate Program to help practitioners like you:
- Demonstrate your clinical proficiency in POCUS
- Test your skills and knowledge
- Promote continued professional development
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to patient care and safety
How to Get Started with APCA's POCUS Program
The POCUS program provides flexibility to tailor the certification and certificate process to your practice needs, ability to use your own device (PC, laptop, etc.) and freedom to take these proficiency assessments online at any time. You can earn POCUS Specialty Certifications, which include clinical content from specified content areas, or earn individual POCUS Clinical Certificates in a variety of content areas. Pick what makes sense for you!
To get started, view our overview video and download the POCUS guide, which walks you through the entire application and assessment process.
