About Me
Dr. M. Barbara Srichai-Parsia is a Professor of Medicine and Radiology at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she serves as Vice Chief of Cardiology, Director of Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging, and Director of the MedStar Women’s Heart Health Program. With over 25 years of experience in advanced cardiovascular imaging, she specializes in cardiac MR, cardiac CT, and advanced echocardiography.

A female multimodality cardiovascular imaging specialist, Dr. Srichai-Parsia earned her MD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and MS in Comparative Effectiveness Research from NYU. She trained at Columbia University Medical Center for internal medicine, and completed cardiology and advanced imaging fellowships at Cleveland Clinic.

Her research focuses on applying multimodality imaging to cardiovascular diseases, particularly subclinical coronary artery disease and cardiomyopathy. Her subspecialty interests in women’s heart disease include dysautonomia and syncope.

Dr. Srichai-Parsia has published over 90 peer-reviewed papers and contributed to several book chapters and review articles.
